About Us

About Us

Charleswood Minor Baseball Association (CMBA) is run for the sole purpose of enabling youth to play baseball in our community. Our programs are open for children from age 5 through 18.

Governed by an all-volunteer board, the CMBA is a non-profit organization that provides Rally Cap and Grand Slam teams for younger players, and A and AA teams for players aged 10-18.  CMBA operates as a member of the Winnipeg South Baseball Association, Baseball Manitoba, and Sport Manitoba.

Our approach is very simple: start early, provide top quality coaching at an early age where skill development is crucial, and focus on fun and friendship. Children are taught by certified coaches, ensuring that young athletes learn the basic skills correctly. We provide a positive environment that promotes fitness, friendship, teamwork and sportsmanship.
